Description

Food is a result of the Kapampangan people’s interactions with European explorers, traders, natural disasters, and the abundance of their land. Their cooking skills and ability to improve the quality of Filipino cuisine have had an impact on the way food is now enjoyed in the Philippines.

The Mangan Tamu Kabalen Pampanga Food Tour will explore the towns in Pampanga that have contributed to its culinary heritage by eating different foods at different restaurants. We will visit heritage churches that have Kapampangan artistic talent, resilience and prestige, and family-owned businesses that are still around after many years.

What to expect

  • It’s a half-day food tour to the culinary destination of the Philippines! A gentle reminder to those who will join this tour – Do come with an empty stomach.
