How it works

  • Revisit your history lessons as you stroll along Manila’s streets from past to present. Discover the Philippines’ tragedies, tolerance, and triumphant recoveries from colonial influences and hear more than 400 years of the old Manila, its history in front of the walls and places where it actually happened. We will be the voice of this silent city to tell its transformation from Malay to Spanish, to American, to Japanese, to Filipino.
  • Indulge in authentic Filipino dishes at Seascape Village for lunch, Manila’s Seafood Paluto Market or make your own miniature Intramuros (cut and build) while you learn about its story. (optional)

Itinerary

  • Meet up will be in FortSantiago Intramuros.
  • We start at exactly 9 am. It’s a 3-hour walking tour. We advise guests to go to the restroom before the trip.
  • Wear something comfortable but also be reminded that there’s a dress code in the Church. We suggest that guests bring their own scarf/sarong.
  • Please bring an umbrella or rain gear.
  • Bring a refillable water bottle for the trip. Guests can refill during stops.
